Director of SSKM Hospital, Dr. Manimoy Bandyopadhyay said that he had advised the CM to stay in the hospital but the CM expressed her desire to go home. The team of doctors will take care of the CM at her home. Director Manimoy Bandyopadhyay said that information was received at around 7.30 in the evening that the Chief Minister had fallen. He has suffered a head injury. There is an injury on the forehead and nose.

According to sources, Mamta Banerjee was returning by car due to rain. Meanwhile, Mamta Banerjee suffered a slight head injury while applying brakes of the car due to fog.
It was told that due to the arrival of another car in Mamta’s convoy, the driver had to apply brakes suddenly. Due to this, her head got injured. Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee had gone to Bardhaman district to participate in a public program. Earlier he had to return by helicopter, but due to bad weather conditions, she had to choose the road route.

She also became a victim of an accident in the year 2023 June. The accident occurred on June 27 during an emergency landing of her helicopter at the Sevoke airbase near Siliguri following bad weather.
